I love stories. Written, spoken, sung.

I grew up in rural New Hampshire, the daughter of an accountant and a teacher, with a younger sister, a horse, three cats, and a black lab named Curly who carried logs from the woodpile into the house on cold winter nights so the humans didn't have to.

I started acting at the age of 6 at the American Stage Festival and spent the next 8 summers performing at Andy's Summer Playhouse, a summer theater where professional directors and designers from NYC produced & wrote plays/original musicals for kids.  Studying extensively/obsessively in my living room, my early teachers included Lily Tomlin, Betty Buckley, Patti LuPone, Carol Burnett, and Cher. (Also the movie Beaches.)

I split my time between the beautiful bustle of NYC and the sweet silence of Vermont, with my

pen pal/husband, actor  Gabriel Vaughan  and our very pretty and very judgmental cat, Caroline.
